* Use Perl to build services, especially services that work as text filters, making the machine slave for you
* Use Growl to send quick notifications to your self or designated victim
* Use File system events to track what is happening on your filesystem

Our own Roman Erenshteyn, Ph.D., D.Sc. in "NimbleKit - Framework for iOS Apps Development"
NimbleKit is a framework based on HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, supported by Xcode 4.2.
Several apps have been developed, including MyMentalQuiz, Knowing Your Eyes, CountProb, and NormalDist. Currently, this framework is used for the development of an app that will serve as a supplement for one of the Pearson’s textbook.
Several app demos will be presented.

Our own Louis Gerbarg in "Designing Bluetooth Low Energy Accessories for iOS"
With the release of iOS 5.0 and the iPhone 4S Apple has greatly expanded the ability of small developers to design hardware devices that interact with iOS devices. In this talk we'll discuss what is involved with implementing a simple Bluetooth LE device, including hardware design, firmware implementation, and iOS application development.
