The Philly Mac Programming Group was originally started by MLMUGers that had interest in programming and programming languages for the Mac, as a SIG. The Mac Programming SIG.
We have outgrown the status of SIG and became a full fledged programming group.
Nevertheless we are still also The MPSIG for MLMUG. We draw our members from the greater Philadelphia Area, and they do not necessarily belong to MLMUG.
Currently there are no membership charges and all are encouraged to join.
Mac is our common interest, however, we are flexible and discuss languages that have broader range than just the Mac. We meet on the first Saturday of every month at Cheyney University (see map below). The goal of the group is improve each other's skill through discussions and presentations of projects developed by group members.
The level of the programming skills of the members is varied, and we welcome anybody who is willing to learn any programming language... On a Mac of course!
